A word from the wife..

As most of you know, I've been out a job the last couple weeks and have hated every minute of it! I'm desperately searching for a new one (preferably in the same field) and it has been super hard! But I got offered a job today working for PayDay Loan Center at their call center-totally not my type of job! I might try it out but I prefer to stay busy and work with people, not sit at a desk all day on the phone. I debated doing it so we could get into a place of our own and getting another job when one comes my way but I'm not sure- I got the weekend to think about it.

My parents are out of town for the weekend so its just me, Kagan, and my little brother Braden at home. I've been playing mom all day today (getting Braden up and taking him to school) and its exhausting! But oh well, its better than bummin' around the house.

Nothing too exciting to post, I just wanted to put some of me up on the profile. :)

Our Potential New Home

So with any luck this is going to be our first home.

After 5 months of looking and seeing places that either I loved or Amanda loved, but the other one was just "okay" with. We found a place that we both need to have. It's on about 6000 west and 7000 south in West Jordan. It's a little further west than we would like to live, but it seems that no matter where we choose to live, there will be sacrifices.

It has vaulted ceilings in the living room and 9-foot ceilings everywhere else. There is a large balcony off the living room and a smaller one outside of the master bedroom. It feels a lot bigger than any place we have looked at too. So as long as we can get an offer accepted and the financing together we will be living here.

The only 3 things that we don't really care too much for is the fact that it's on the 3rd floor, although this is kind of bitter sweet as we wont have to deal with people walking above us. Number 2 being the blue color in the living room, but that is easily fixed. And finally number 3 being the location, but we think that it's something that we can live with, it's not that far out of our way.
